Here's the first minute of the next segment for the video I'm working on ("How To Shave Cheaply...and Well!"). What do you think so far? Too much "cutesy" production values (over-produced/edited)? Visuals appropriate? Should I be on-camera talking or is off-camera narration OK with you?
I like the presentation of the subject. You should see into the audio compression, that felt a bit too high. Off-camera narration is okay (with me at least!).
Helge- Yes, I had to compress the file down more than I wanted for Blogger. The final product will be uploaded to the various video sites I belong to (YouTube, Blip, Sclipo, etc.) in a better quality file.
Perhaps include some info and tips on how to restore and clean up those old vintage razors - although that could be a whole video in itself! I know i'm guilty of not looking after my Merkur's as much as they deserve. On a different note, have you had any success with alum blocks, witch hazel, or talc powder as aftershaves?
-tom- Yes! There will be a short bit on cleaning vintage razors! I will be discussing various aftershave alternatives in another video but personally I have had good luck with witch hazel, less luck with alum blocks or talcs.

maybe the last scene of the couple walking along got a bit long but otherwise it's all looking good and not off message.
Angus- Good comment, thanks. I think I know a quick edit I can make to address it too!
I think the off-camera narration works well.
As an average joe here who knows little about cameras, movies and audio, I though it was awesome. I can't wait to se the rest of the video.
